Storage Guide

Artisan cakes, without artificial preservatives, require special care to maintain freshness and flavor.

Ideal Temperature

  • Cream cakes: Refrigerator (2-5°C), consume within 3-5 days
  • Dry cakes: Room temperature in airtight container, up to 7 days
  • Fruit cakes: Refrigerator, consume within 4-6 days

Freezing

Most cakes can be frozen for up to 3 months. Wrap individually in plastic wrap and aluminum foil. Thaw slowly in refrigerator.

Signs of Deterioration

Do not consume cakes that show:

  • Mold or strange spots
  • Sour or unpleasant smell
  • Slimy texture
  • Expired date
